| What an honor to serve as the 79th President of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta. Founded in 1933 as the Marietta Junior Welfare League, the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta is an organization of over 400 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Throughout our 79 year history, the JLCM has made a transformative impact on Cobb County, and the partners we serve. That impact is also seen in our members, who are strong women serving as powerful advocates for children and families. The tireless commitment of the entire membership enables the League to address a variety of basic, critical and emerging community needs through community projects, grants and collaborations. |
