    projects that focus on improving the lives of children and families.

    Do you want to learn or improve your leadership skills? Have you ever wanted
    to organize and lead a committee? The Junior League is committed to
    developing the potential of women. It empowers members through
    extraordinary opportunities for leadership and personal growth. The League’s
    leadership positions encourage responsible and thoughtful risk taking. The
    League’s mentoring philosophy enables new members to develop
    leadership skills.

Training?
Have you ever wanted to serve on the board of a non-profit organization? Have you ever been faced with a
life-threatening situation? The League provides a system of training and support that allows women to
cultivate and build upon their own strengths. Our members are offered a variety of training opportunities
including sessions on fundraising and event planning, business etiquette, financial management, grant
writing, and enhancing interpersonal skills.

Making new friends?
Are you new to Cobb County?  Do you want to meet other
motivated women interested in community service?  The Junior
League of Cobb-Marietta (JLCM) is an organization of over 500
women who share a passion for giving back to the community.  
Members benefit from working side by side with women who
share a commitment to volunteerism.  Strong bonds of friendship
develop when working on a League project, participating in a
training program, fundraiser or attending a social event.
