The Junior League of Cobb-Marietta
Janet J. Street Youth Philanthropy Award
In 2008, the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta launched a new funding effort, intended to
recognize and reward one young woman in the Cobb-Marietta Community each academic
year for her exceptional service to the community in making a difference in the lives of
others.  The Janet J. Street Youth Philanthropy Award honors the former CEO of Girls’ Inc. of
Greater Atlanta and past president of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta (JLCM).  Through
her commitment to inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold, Janet exemplifies the ideals of
community service and dedication that all members of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta
strive to achieve.
