Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta’s “Community Development Grant Fund.”
Our community partnerships benefit many of the area’s carefully selected organizations.  Over the years,
we have been instrumental in identifying and meeting community needs through volunteer assistance and
financial contributions.

What do we look for in a community partner?

We partner with agencies that reflect our mission of service to the children and families of Cobb County.
Your agency must be a 501(c)(3) organization with meaningful, high quality volunteer opportunities that
serve the children and families of Cobb County.

The expertise of Junior League Volunteers

We encourage prospective partners to be creative in their requests for funding and volunteers.  We offer
“Full Volunteer Placements” (40-60 hours) and “Partial Volunteer Placements” (20 hours).

Consider requesting JLCM volunteers to help you plan your next fundraiser, serve as a committee advisor,
or assist you in writing your new public relations plan. Many area organizations have and continue to
benefit greatly from the skills and experience of our members.

Financial Assistance

We award up to $15,000 each year with the average grant between $1,000 and $3,500.  Grants applied for
the 2007-08 year will be awarded at our Annual Meeting in May.

How do I apply?

Whether you are an existing or prospective Junior League of Cobb-Marietta partner, we look forward to
learning more about your current needs.
