Cobb County Youth Museum

A Junior League project since 1963, the Youth Museum provides Cobb
County and Marietta educational systems with an innovative, educational
    resource.

Students learn about significant American social, cultural and historical
events by actively role-playing their parts amid an interactive, historically
accurate exhibit. The theme of the Youth Museum's exhibit rotates every three
years; the current focus is on exploration of the New World, from the Vikings
    to Lewis and Clark.

Opening its doors in 1970, the Cobb County Youth Museum is a direct result of the Junior League of Cobb-
Marietta, Inc.'s dream to provide students in Cobb County with a special learning experience, which
effectively integrates the arts, science and education. Interest in the museum has since spread well
beyond the Cobb County area; it is now open to any school system requesting admittance.
