Janet J. Street Youth Scholarship Award
In 2007, the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta launched a new funding effort, intended to recognize and
reward one young woman in the Cobb-Marietta Community each academic year for her exceptional service
to the community in making a difference in the lives of others.  The Janet J. Street Scholarship honors the
former CEO of Girls’ Inc. of Greater Atlanta and past president of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta

lil' chickens
The lil’ chickens of marietta is a public art project that will bring the designs of local artists out of the
galleries and into public spaces around Marietta for all to enjoy. In the spirit of the popular “Cows on
Parade,” the lil’ chickens of marietta brings art to our streets in a new way with a decidedly familiar
character.
